As part of the support provided by the #NosCuidamosEntreTodos group of companies through donations of equipment and supplies for the treatment of Covid-19, we received at TCU the first batch of ventilators from China in a LATAM Cargo flight.

The operation was carried out by Global Cargo Logistics, who arranged the pickup of the cargo in Beijing, China, and ensured its proper transport to Carrasco Airport. This represented a great challenge given the existing limitations on exports from China and the restrictions on international transport.

According to its Director, Mr. Sergio Alpuy Dutra, “we are pleased to have done our bit for this initiative; we are making our contribution in logistical and economic terms to give back to society all that Uruguay has given us and continues to give us. We have an exceptionally generous and supportive people, which can be seen in every corner of the country, either by making baskets with essential items or by distributing them so that they reach their destination and thus help the most needy sectors of the population in both urban and rural areas. At Global Cargo Logistics we are proud to be part of this effort”.
